Two broodies sharing a nest, How successful will this be?

I have 2 BLRW hens that went broody at the same time and are determined to nest together. They have been inseparable since the day I got them as chicks and get along well (with each other anyway ;-) I currently have no rooster so I purchased 10 fertilized eggs after I determined that there was no way I was breaking up their broodiness. I swear one of them went broody the second egg she laid! I need to move them out of the main coop to a brood pen. Should I leave them together as they seem content or should I separate them? Are their any issues that may arise after hatching the chicks with two hens? I'm new to this avian grandmother thing so voices of experience are welcome.

This has happened multiple times with my girls. With a Blue Jersey and a chocolate Orpington. I would get babies out from under either hen when it came time for hatching. This does work. There should not be any problems.

Same here. Last summer i had 8 all go broody on me at the same time. I had 4 hens on one nest. Its not a problem

Thanks guys, I appreciate the help. I'll let you know how it goes. I hope it goes well. I put 10 blk, blue and splash orpington eggs under them and I am looking forward to some fun colors. As big as these two are you could have put 30 under them and still had room under them for a couple of goose eggs.
I am happy it was these two hens that went broody as they are the least productive layers of the bunch. I will miss the pretty eggs though. One of the broodies lays a beautiful brown eggs with tiny blue-grey spots and a blueish bloom. Some days it almost looks like a wild bird egg.

Thanks for the help folks. Ended up hatching 7 healthy babies. Had to toss one of the hens out as she was kind of a sloppy drunk of a mom. Pooping in the nest, banging around and being disruptive to the other hen. The one that I left in the brood pen kept stealing all the eggs anyway! She's the one that tried to set on the second egg she laid. Think she's just born to be a broody. She is a great mom. Motherhood really mellowed her out. She was always a flighty bird now you can pet her, pick up the chicks, clean around her and she is just calm and happy. A pleasant surprise.
Thanks again for the words of encouragement!
