A couple of weeks ago a lady I know decided she would like me to hatch her some of my eggs as she wants some easter eggers and a son of Lovejoy my brahma.
Was just getting ready to fire up the incubator for the pre incubation test when both my pekin and brahma hens went broody! They are now both on eggs and sitting tight although Clara the brahma keeps pinching Amys eggs. (I give them back to Amy each day)
Clara had broken one today which resulted in a bedding change and egg clean but other than this all seems to be going well and I will be doing the first candling this weekend, so updates to follow soon.
