Two broodys each with one baby

My easter egger has never hatched babies before. We let her hatch a baby silkie. We'll she's different from a silkie hen we have let hatch a few times. I can't gage if she is doing good enough I guess? Obviously its alive still and has made it a couple of weeks so its getting what it needs however.. we had to lock her up with the baby to get her to stay put and today I decided to let them out because its so nice well she will leave it by itself and take dust baths without even flinching while its screeching for her. She's goes back eventually but my other hen with baby does not leave her babies side ever so its strange. One of my nova gens went after this little baby while its mom was in the dust bath and the mom did nothing and just continued bathing? Is this ditching behavior? Should I raise the baby inside? Will it be okay with mom even if she's not too attentive to it?

How old is the chick? Some hens start weaning their babies earlier than others. As long as it's mostly feathered and not getting bullied, I would leave it with mom and the rest of the flock.
