two day old chick panting?

Ok,
I have a two day old chick that 1 started life hard its little hole didnt close up before it hatched it took it a few hours, than 2 last night I was watching it and its pants, now it doesnt do it all the time. The others are not doing this so my question is it ok?

They pant when they are hot. Maybe it has a fever due to infection from the yolksack not being absorbed? I might try giving it a little antibiotic in the water if it continues. I don't know what else it could be unless it's just a hot natured little peep

Hard to say without seeing the little booger. First thing I would think is that it is too hot... but you said no one else is panting. Does it move around and eat and drink? Does he sneeze, wheeze, move funny in anyway? Like I said, it is hard to say without seeing it. How long does it pant for? seconds? minutes? hours?

so its still alsive and I do think that it could have a fever due to the egg yolk issue, so I put it in a box with one of its friends and the water I put a little of Terimicyn (sorry rotten speller I am) it drank some of it so I hope this well help it.
Any more ideas.
Oh when you see the little guy last night it panted than once in a while it would stop, but its not stoped long enough to make any of us feel better. My husband woke me up this morning saying it was on its back and he put it right. I hate this...

i read that chicks can have water as soon as they hatch not food thou i stick my finger in water,get a drop on it, and touch the chicks beak.
maybe his/her egg was a little dry and hes/shes thirsty

So its still hanging in there.
Any more ideas, when I put it in my hand it stops panting for a few seconds and than starts again.
