Two Faverolle Pips!!

I didn't think any of these were going to hatch. Shipped from TX to Ky. My egg turner broke and it took me a week to realize it. It's the end of day 21 and all my previous hatches in the hovabator have been 2 days early.

Did I mention that Faverolles are my FAVORITE FAVORITE FAVORITES!! I sure hope they make it out okay.

Let me add my cheers! Go chickies...it's you birthday...! I just put another doz and more up on the egg thread so if you don't wind up with many let me know and we'll work something out to reload your bator, but these guys are pretty strong usualy so I am hopeful for you!

Could temp have been a little warm on your other hatches? Or a little cool on this one?

Well I haven't touched the pre set temp on the hova bator, BUT now that you mention it, since it's much colder outside I would imagine it might be a bit colder in the closet, too.

Those eggshells are so thick, they looked the same on day 3 and 7 and 18: Too dark to see anything. So I never really knew if they were developing. I was worried that they might have froze somewhere in transit.

I would LOVE to buy some more eggs, but it is too cold to ship.
