Hello, happy new year!

A week ago, I went to open my coop to find one of my hens had never gone inside at night. (My husband had not counted and didn't see her out)
Her third eyelid was up and as soon as I let the other hens out, one started pecking her eye. So we secluded her inside to treat the eye with antibiotics and give her time to heal.
She has laid one egg in that time and while she opens her eye more frequently, it appears cloudy. Eating and drinking fine.
I attempted a reintroduction today and two of my hens immediately sought her out and jumped her. She stood her ground against one but then a second aggressor joined in and I immediately removed her to check for new wounds.
I tried again to bring her outside while everyone was free ranging and again, they sought her out and attacked.

So now she's unhappily back in her basement makeshift coop until I can learn how to properly get her back home without being pecked to death. Any advice??

Is her eye healed now?
Sometimes flock members will gang up on a sick chicken.

She had it open when I put her outside with the flock. I'm unsure if she can see out of it as it's slightly cloudy. She's keeping it closed right now in her cage.
It's no longer swollen and I got a fair amount of clear goop out of it at the beginning of the week so I think it's no longer infected.

Is your coop large enough to create a chicken wire wall to separate the others from her? This is how I do the see but no touch integration. I also made the wall to have a wood frame only on the sides not the top or bottom so that it rolls up until the next integration. I made the wall to fit over a waterer that sits on the ground so that everyone has to drink from the same waterer but they can’t get to each other.

The coop is 4x6 (not including needing box area) with a 4x12 run for 9 chickens.
We were planning on making the run bigger in the spring. I'm not sure if we could section off the inside, I'll have to ask husband.

They need more space.
Crowding may have caused the injury in the first place.
Integrating is going to be tough.
Might try removing the 2 bullies to the basement, see if the rest of the birds accept her back.
