four quail, 2 eggs a day, is pretty exciting - except - looks like a have two males and one is getting beating up pretty bad, his eye does not look good, feathers on the head are looking 'plucked'. I separated him and now he is very vocal and seems to miss the company - pacing around the cage. if I put him back will he eventually get killed? will solitary confinement kill him? should I keep him separated and explore appetizer recipes?
thanks
