I have some that are 3 weeks and some that are 5. The 5-week ones are learning to fly. I was wondering if it was okay to move them to a temporary coop in the run until they're big enough to mix with the adults. I've done some searching around about whether you can move a chick that young outside, but everything I found concerned doing so when it was cold. Overnight lows here have been in the 70s and high in the upper 80s to upper 90s. When I check on them at night before bed, I don't even see the 3-week-olds under the heating plate, but I'm also worried that they wouldn't be ok if they didn't have it (I don't have power in the coop). Would love some experienced advice.

lol, i usually wire over my brooder box by 10 days or theyll be up pooping over the side ..yes but i agree by 3 weeks they wont need heat if its 70 at night .. id make sure theyre not subjected to direct wind or rain or anything though, tie an old sheet up if ya hafta ..
