Two pairs or a trio?

I have three almost 7 week old Chinese painted quail, two hens and a roo.
They're pets so their comfort and happiness is my main priority, eggs are a bonus.
With this in mind, would it be better to add a second roo, and provide nesting areas at opposite ends of the 'L', or keep them as a trio?

My aviary is about 3 M² and 'L' shaped, is this big enough for two pairs to happily cohabit?

Thanks in advance.

Buttons do better in pairs. If you have two females, they might fight over the male. You have plenty of space for two pairs.

You also have enough space that if there is any fighting, there won't be much.
We collected a second male and kept him with our second female for a few days. Last night we put all four in their new indoor aviary with hiding spots at opposite ends.

I'm happy to report that everyone seems to be getting on well. Boys seem completely uninterested in eachother and are just following their ladies around and exploring the new aviary. Thank you again @Nabiki, your help has been very much appreciated.
