Number one, are the eggs hard to hatch? I want to hatch some but if its any more complicated than incubating chickens then its not for me.

Number two, has anyone ordered guinea eggs from Stromberg's Hatchery?

Personally I think they are easier than chickens because they aren't quite as picky about humidity. I've had humidity issues and still had most if not all guineas hatch.

I've heard they're easier. I have some of my girls eggs in the bator now, so I'll know in a few weeks!

ETA: I've never ordered from that hatchery, but $38 a dozen is pretty steep. I'm sure you can get them a lot cheaper here or even ebay.

I just finished a hatch and it was real easy - had to help a few out because of shrink wrapped but most just seemed to appear in the incubator.

Guineas don't pip and zip...they pip and POP! I swear they POP out of the eggs! And active!?! Holy moly! Watch it when you open the top to your incubator! They go every which way! I love hatching guineas. I really do believe they're one of the easier things to hatch. I love guineas!
