Two questions regarding my hens?

Well I was in my bath robe, but I did put on my rubber boots (which I forgot to bring in so they were wet inside, ewww).

When mine were about 4 months and had been going outside during the day, they were sort of oblivious to the coop, so we had to put them in at night. Throwing a handful of treats in their coop will make getting them in faster.
It always took ages for us to catch our peeps and put them in their coop. It was very frustrating. I suggest (from newbie to newbie) that you get them into the habit of going in, because it will eventually be a pain to catch them when they get older and a little smarter.
I'm new to chickens too. (We're on our first flock that we started in July.) I've found that the people here at BYC are very helpful and are willing to answer even your stupidest questions.
