Awww I am so sorry for your loss! The heat has been terribly weird this year.

I just buried 2 chicks that died for no reason and I cried the entire time. I wish you stong will and encouragement to try again (tell any potential broodys to please wait

I'm sorry.

I had a scare today.

I was gone all day, and I got home at four pm to let my girls freerange.

I opened the door and noticed their five gallon waterer was BONE DRY. I had filled it before I had left. I also leave the hose running a bowl in the shade when I let my girls freerange. So when my girls ran out, and drank for like five straight minutes. I felt so bad when I saw the empty water holder, and even worse when I saw them drinking water for so long. I don't know how long the water holder had been empty.

It was 118 degrees today.
