I have a set of six, and ordered a set of two. They will be two weeks apart. Can I brood them together, or should I seperate them?

You can try putting them together, but you'll want to watch them closely for a day or so. The older, larger birds may bully the younger ones. Or they may not. I've seen it go both ways. Have a backup plan in case they do.

Thanks. I like your Don't Panic under your name.

I did exactly what you are describing (same age/numbers) and it was great! The larger chicks paid no attention to the younger ones. Not one peck. They did have plenty of room and you need to be sure that your temperature is right. I was reading another post on this forum where someone added smaller chicks and they got crushed in a pile up with the larger chicks.
