Hi, I live in Sterling, VA, and I have two silkie roosters, 1 year old who I need to find homes for. Thunder is all black and very big and fluffy. Willow is buff with black and white in his tail. My husband doesn't like having chickens and I'm sick of listening to him complain. Since I know he would have a fit if I got hens, I need to find them a home with hens. A raccoon got mine, so the boys are lonely. If you can give them a loving home where they'll be happy and safe or have a suggestion as to how I can find them a home, let me know. Thanks

Hi. I may be interested in one of them. I live in Wisconsin, and I'm not sure if my parents would be willing to drive all the way there....I would love to take one....but I'm not sure if we can have another rooster.... I'm sorry... Um just out if curiosity, how much would they be and what are their temperaments? And would they need to have a home together? Cuz I would love the buff one... But I'm pretty sure my parents won't let me....sorry...

I hope u find them loving, good homes.... And at our house, unless one if the boys is REALLY mean, or hurting hens, none if the boys go to freezer camp

You could try Craigslist, or an even better idea, if there's a 4-H/ farmers club in ur area I'm sure someone would love a silkie roo or 2.....hell, I'm in 4-H and I absolutely love chickens and I have been wanting silkies for a while...so I'm sure someone will love to take them,..

Thanks. If you want to drive to get one or both, that's fine. They don't have to go together. I feel bad for the black one (Thunder) because everyone talks about wanting the buff (Willow). They are both territorial with each other, but not super mean. Thunder will let you hold him but if he's on the ground and you're in his pen, he'll try pecking at your feet, but it doesn't hurt so I ignore him. Willow has never pecked anyone. He's very sweet. He will pick on Thunder though and visa versa.

I'm sorry but I can't get either of them.....

I would love to have either of them, but my parents dont want to drive that far... I'm sorry... I hope they find good homes. :)

If u can ship I keep them free range and at nite lock them up I live in Cleveland ok, I have plenty of hens and a big space so fighting probably won't be an issue.thanx let me know

I live in North Texas, I would love to help you in getting these boys a Great Home!! If you still have them? I have a big spacious back yard and my Roo, R.I.P. Mr.Molly (thought it was just molly till she/he crowed) died. My husband loves Roster's to so no issues with that either.

Oh my chcikens, are all free range and my nabiors enjoy our Lil ranch. And the children of the nabiorhood love to help feed and if they can pet or watch them. Mr. Molly rode to the stores and in the cart when we went shopping.
