And then they'll be butchered. They're five weeks old now and doing very well. They get a locally milled broiler mash (21% protein) and free-range during the day. Should I do anything special to finish them? Like how you corn finish hogs or cattle...?

I actually absolutely love mine. I wish they had been the ugly, mean, stupid blobby birds that everyone said that they were. Instead, mine are cooshy, brilliant white, incredibly friendly and actually somewhat cuddly. I love my cornish x!
