Two Wyandotte with different markings..pullets? Please?

Hi! I’m back again, this time with Louise & Thelma

Louise has been slightly bigger (taller and wider) for a week or two (they were chicks bought together and seemed same age) & has darker feathers on her wings. I swear the posture is slightly different as well. (Edited to add: approx 8 weeks old)

Hoping my boyfriend is right, and this variation is normal & I’m just roo-shy and they are both pullets? I already have Bean, the roo (who seems to like to chest bump Louise the most), and can’t have another in my small flock of 6, right?!

How old are they? Both look like pullets. Wyandottes can vary greatly with coloration and that's what you're seeing here.

Oh I hope you’re right! I read somewhere that rustier color meant roo, and it made me nervous lol

Haha! They're both definitely girls.

They both look like pullets. We had two blue laced red Wyandottes who were very different coloring and shape. One is nicknamed pumpkin b/c she is a lighter color and more rounded. The other was sleeker and slightly darker coloring.
