How much for 5quarts ?You can but I suggest giving it orally so you're sure they're getting the proper dose. When chickens have a respiratory infection they tend to stop eating and drinking. To give it orally the dosage is 0.06ml per pound 3x a day for 5 days.
If they do have a respiratory infection be sure.you close your flock. No new birds in and no birds go out.
I don't put in water. You can't measure how much they're getting that way. When I did it I used tylan 200 and gave them 0.05ml per lb 3 times a day for 5 days orally. How much for 5quarts ?
You are better off giving it by direct dose as posted by @Mamatomany123 . Only sick or symptomatic birds should be treated. If you need something for the water, Tylosin powder can be ordered here:How much for 5quarts ?
Now is that the injectable Tylan 200? You just put in a Syringe at 0.05ml and gave them that orally?I don't put in water. You can't measure how much they're getting that way. When I did it I used tylan 200 and gave them 0.05ml per lb 3 times a day for 5 days orally.
Yes,it is the injectable. You need to figure it hw much your birds weigh. My girls are round 7-8 lbs so I gave them .4mls through a Syringe. Make sure you don't put it in their windpipe. You want to get the Syringe past the windpipe and squirt it to the side to be sure they don't spit it out or inhale it.Now is that the injectable Tylan 200? You just put in a Syringe at 0.05ml and gave them that orally?
