It seems my area is being overrun with illness right now! My friend is fixing to start giving his birds tylan 50 but the bottle expiered this year. Does anyone know how long past experation it is still good for? The experation date was Feb of this year

I don't drink the milk beyond the date on the jug, so I keep that rule of thumb.

go and buy some fresh stuff.

Thanks for the feed back, he started them on it the other day, and today they sound better. So the stuff must still be good.

The use by date is a good rule of thumb, however some medications are still good for several months past expiration. Considering the fairly inexpensive cost, I'd get a new bottle after this bout of illness.
