Types of feeders

I'm trying to decide between using the little round feeders with a mason jar, the long, sliding top feeder or just a low bowl for feeding my chicks when they get here. Also need to decide which is best for the baby ducks. Any ideas?

I use the mason jar type with the eight holes. I have 7 chicks that are a month old and I fill it twice a day.

ducks need bigger holes so they can scoop.. and water needs to be hi enough to clear the nostrils.

I like the long ones with the holes running down either side. There was less waste with that one for me. However, there's still a ton of waste when they are little. It helped enormously to have the feeder raised on a piece of wood (or whatever you have) as they didn't get their bedding into it quite so much.
