UGH, I hate winter

Another reason to hate winter. We are only allowed 4 birds on our lot size and with egg production down for the winter, it feels so wrong to even say it, I bought eggs at the store today, for the first time in almost a year. Can't wait till spring.

So sorry to hear that!! I'm looking forward to fresh eggs!!

Maybe instead of buying store bought you could find more fresh eggs to buy from someone else, because at least they'd still be fresh and not as bad as store bought ones!

that sucks. My hens have dropped egg production too. I'm only getting 2 or three a day. I usually get 6.

I really don't want to put lighting in the shed though, although that may be something for you to think of.

I have 16 hens But only getting 4 0r 5 eggs a day but Will NEVER EVER buy thoes rotten store bought eggs
