My 3 chicks are only about 4 weeks old. I have an easter egger, white leghorn and a light brahma. The light brahma acts very rude and very bossy to the other girls. Of course I wont know till she crows, lol, but I have my suspicions.
Today he/she managed to poop on the side of the brooder so I decided to wipe it up with a tissue. The chicks all freaked out at the sight of the ever-scary, white tissue in my hands and scurried away chirping maniacally
Except the white brahma flew up and lunged at my hand and pecked me! hmmm...
My kiddos are all really attached to the chicks and we will have to give the chick away if it turns out to be a roo, it will be sad for them. Hopefully I'm just reading too much into it.
