ugh, my chickens have mites. can we eat the eggs

I found mites on my chickens, can we eat the eggs? I have not treated the chickens yet. Now I will read up on the poultry dust to see if we can eat after treatment but I need to know if we should eat the eggs from a chicken with mites. Thank you all!

Yes you can eat the eggs, they are already hard by the time a mite would have a chance of coming in contact with it.

thanks, I was also wondering if the chicken is sick from the mites like depleted or whatever would the egg be bad?

the eggs are just fine.. eat them..

just when you collect the eggs do not carry them in your hat..
