ugh! this is brutal!

i want my chicks ducks to hatch now! i still have 17 days

i can't wait any longer!!!! they are under a broody hen... is there such a thing as toooo much candling????

yes. STOP CANDLING. if you bug broody too much, she might give up, and cooling and moving the eggs around too often isn't good either! Leave 'em alone, and let mama do her thing!

My eggs are coming up on 48hrs

I wont candle till at least day 7 is complete.

By then, Ill have another batch in my homemade bator . . .

OH I know what you mean!!! I only candled once this batch...er, um...hatch. They're due next Tuesday 23rd. Isn't it exciting? It makes me feel like I have something to look forward to in this somewhat hum-drum March! I'll be watching this post and hope for the best.
Take others advise and no more candling. It could cause more harm than good.

i know what to do. get a toy chicken, and some infertile eggs. put eggs under toy chicken, and candle to your heart's content... in 21 days, you'll get chicks... from the other hen!

HAHAAH i love it! yeah i will stop now... just completely pretend there is nothing under her! haha. when would be the "last time" anyone candles? day 14? or day 16? ... just tell me no more!
