I set some eggs under my broody silver duckwing. 3 white leghorn x barred rock and 1 fawn duckwing egg. When I candled them 1 of the large eggs wasn't fertile so I threw it out. About a week later I discovered a hole in one of the other large eggs, baby was in there, but had already died. So then there were only 2 left under her, one big egg and one banty egg. Yesterday the banty egg hatched! But the coloring isn't right! I am 100% for sure that I got it out of the fawn duckwing pen. I have all of my chickens separated into trios, all purebred. I am so confused right now!

The only thing that looks duckwing is the dark 'V' on her head.. (yes, its a girl!)

Anyone have any ideas? I'm stumped by my own chickens!
