Ummm... my chicken is the predator!

Be careful handling bats. Your chickens can't get rabies, but you can. Some bats have teethe that are so tiny that they gan graze your skin so slightly that you may not even know it. Even a tiny grazing can transmit rabies to you.

My chickens will eat anything that doesn't eat them first. As a matter of fact, I saw Butterscotch (Buff Cochin) eying my little dog yesterday with a hungry look in her eyes. That's why silkies cover their eyes with their poof heads. They don't want us to see that sinister look in their eyes.
 
Yes, the dead bat under the crawl space of our house is definitely a "husbandly" duty. I bet he can't wait to get home, he's on his way now. How that man ever puts up with me no one knows.....
