Hi! I adopted two more female Runner ducks about 3 weeks ago. When I got her, she was small, much smaller than my 4 month old drake. She is 1 year old, so I just thought she was petite. She was laying 1 egg a day, but for the last week, she had laid nothing. She is very active during the day, foraging in the yard, and eating plants in the pond. She has access to pellets 24 hours a day in their house. I picked her up today to check her out, and there is absolutely no meat on her breast. I was concerned, so I brought her in and weighed her. She is only 1.8 lbs! My male runner is almost five lbs, and her duck sister is at least 4 lbs. I tried to hold her on my lap and feed her mill worms, but she just stared at them. All of my other ducks are at a perfect weight, so I don't know what to do to help this little lady. She does not seem ill in any way. She is bright eyed, energetic and friendly. Please help. Thanks!
