So my hubby just called me @ work and told me that my beautiful little blue salmon faverolle cockerel was dead in the coop. No blood, no signs of trauma. Just dead. As of this morning, he was eating/drinking and acting normal. He was hatched about two months ago and the youngest bird I had. He was housed with a mille fleur project chick who was about two weeks older but they seemed to get along fine. They were on chick starter and had plenty of fresh water & a heat lamp on them.
Sighs.
