So, unfortunately, two of our Wyandottes passed away yesterday...they hadn't shown any signs of illness, my wife went to check on them and found Roxxi and Aggra had passed away.
I went to check on them a little while ago and found Pig, one of our Ameraucanas, lying on the floor...she's not going to make it through the next few hours.
They're visibly quite healthy, no obvious signs of anything...but there's a common factor amongst the three...they were all drooling, and the saliva has a very, very foul smell to it...hard to describe, but it smells a bit like food gone bad, sort of a rancid meat smell.
I'm fearing for my remaining birds. They're all doing okay so far, but I can't help but worry...the three surviving hens have been moved to a different location, and we've sanitized the area they were in before.
If anyone can help, I don't want to lose any more of my little girlies...
