one of my guinea females laid a huge nest of about 30 eggs under the hen house inside their pen. She has been faithfully sitting on it but unfortunately I have seen no babies hatch. She has definitely been on there about 6 weeks or so! Should I just clear out the nest? Can I check the eggs somehow? I have no idea what to do with this situation. Meanwhile another one has gone broody in a flower bed with a big nest full of eggs also. Some advice?

They are way past hatch date at 6 weeks mine start hatching at 24 days.

I would candle some of them at night.

Are you sure you have a male?

thanks-I'll try it. I have 4 females and 2 males and we have seen them breeding. I'll try sneaking some out today.
