Unidentified Chicken Parasite

These do not appear to be mites, fleas, or lice they are brown with a black stripe down the back and congregate along the chicken shaft and don't move much. I'm not sure how to treat them since I don't know what they are, any help would be much appreciated!

Looks like some form of louse, to me. But use a jeweler's loupe and count the legs: http://ohioline.osu.edu/vme-fact/0018.html

Seven Dust - cheap & easy to find - not toxic to the chickens if they eat some & it kills all forms of bugs like this.

I use 7 dust all over my coop & in the run & mix some in the dirt where they like to roll around. IT WORKS! & it's safe.

I'd guess poultry lice, looks like the ones about halfway down this page

Sevin will work, will also kill most beneficials so I would use sparingly (just on the chickens) unless you have a terrible infestation.
