Ill-informed advice

I have been reading a lot of advice regarding feeding poultry. Some of it regarding pet (cat/dog) food. Someone said that most dog foods are plant based, this is not true! Maybe some but definitely not all! Please don’t give advice regarding feeding by making broad generalizations when it comes to feed.

There are hundreds of types of pet and poultry feeds out there. Just because some of the big, agri-business products are using sub-par ingredients, that does not mean that all are. Please preface your advice with the brand of food that you’re talking about. Thank you.

This will not be the only time you come across unsound advice or advice which may be contrary to your own.
You have to take it with a grain of salt.
If it is questionable or nonsensical, seek advice from the Educators. They will help you or guide you.

They were relatively new (from this year.) I stumbled on a thread when I was looking up “chickens eating cat food” because I found my chickens in the kitchen eating out of the cat bowl
