Unique color markings?

This may be an odd off the wall question, but I wondered if anyone here knows (since I can't seem to find an answer by googling it) if chicks who have unique color markings on their feet or beak will keep those markings, or grow out of them? I am just curious.

Interesting. I don't know but the leg scales do molt so that is a good question.

I did not know their scales molted! Thanks for that little bit of new info. I am new at this, so I enjoy learning all these new little things. Thanks! A little but ago (in another group) I was told that the foot markings DO change, so I guess I will have to wait and see if that is true.
