Does anyone have any ideas? I have had two 10-11 month old hens die unexpectedly in the past 6 weeks. Both were fine during the day and then died sometime during the night. They had both lost some tail and neck feathers. They had been dusted with Sevin. Their combs were red, not lethargic, eating fine, and no sign of disease. They don't free range but have a very large pen. I understand that chickens can sometimes just die but, between the feather loss and two deaths, I'm really concerned for the others.
