Unlabeled TSC chicks. Breed?

These are at my local TSC, came to them labeled only as pullets, no breed.
Any idea what they are? Barred Rock maybe? Or?

Most likely they are Australorps. Definitely not barred rocks as they don't have the spots on the back of their heads. Jersey Giant is another possibility, but less likely than Australorps because they're a bit more rare.

Oh okay that makes sense, for some reason I thought just the male BR chicks had the head spots.
These were the same size as the the rhode island reds in the next bin and smaller the the (blue tint) Wyandottes in the last bin.

They will be going down to $1 each tomorrow so was curious what they might be. Thanks

That's very common with black varieties. Those feathers will fall out and grow in black later on, most likely.

My first thought was also Black Australorps.

I have some like that too and identified the chicks as Black Jersey Giants. BA look similar but also have some yellow coloration on the belly and wings.
The ones with the white spots on the head is a different breed.
