Unlikely Pair

We had a pair of India Blue Peacocks, and they recently took off into the woods

Well, the hen came back the other day and we got her to go into her pen and then we promptly shut the gate. But she seemed so lonely without her mate....... so...... I put a male Red Golden pheasant in with her yesterday. So far, so good. She doesn't seem at all interested in him and he seems to hide alot, but at least they have each other for company, right?

ive actually heard of quite a few people keeping goldens in with peafowl, best of luck!.

I keep a pr of peacocks and a pr of red golden in a cage together, have for over the last year and I never have any problems.
