Unmilled rice

I was given a 50lb bag of unmilled rice from Riceland Foods. Does anyone know if chickens can safely eat unmilled rice? Anyone had luck/or problems with it?

If it's a seed, chickens can eat it.

Rice is very low in protein so I wouldn't use much.
