I have always bought Braggs ACV. I was at Whole Foods and seen that their 365 brand organic unfiltered ACV was on sale so I bought it. At home I was comparing the labels- Braggs vs 365 Brand. The Braggs is unpateurized and the 365 is pasteurized. Both are organic and both are unfiltered. Will using the pasteurized one have the same benefits as the unpasteurized or should I just stick with the Braggs and know that that brand does work.

it depends on your use of the ACV and most use unpasteurized because it has 'the mother' a healthy bacteria in it. If it is pasteurized then 'the mother' has been killed and is not present.

99.9% or more of all ACV is now produced chemical. A large percentage of ACV is also now made using grain alcohol and only flavored with apples. Besides, what bacteria that is able to live in ACV are you fearful of? The vinigar finally kills off the mother anyway, much like wine kills the yeast used to produce it.

Try this, go to the liguor store and buy yourself a fifth of 80 proof vodka then cut it 50% or by 1/2 with distiled water. Cut the resulting mixture a further 25% or 1/4 with more distilled water. Then top off the jug with a quart of un-pasturized ACV.

Seal this mixture and place it in a quite, cool, and dark place. Keep your eye on it and if a mother developes the ACV you used is at least to some degree unpasturized old fashion ACV. Good luck.

Or you could send me the fifth of vodka and I will taste... I mean test it for you.
