My chick has a severe wry neck and is asleep most of the day. Its eyes open sometimes but today I noticed that one eye looked different (2nd photo) from its normal eye (first photo). I tried shining light on it and it wasn't responding and there's no movement either. I tried opening the lid and it seemed reddish. I dropped some saline solution on the eye but I still don't know what could be wrong. Since my chick can't walk on its own, it just stays in a box with a wrapped hot compress all day so I'm not sure if it could've gotten a foreign object into its eye.

its other eye is still red and unresponsive to light. It also can't open it 😢 Its wry neck also isn't getting better and I've been giving it vit E and egg yolk for nearly a week
Poor thing, it may just be failure to thrive.
This chick looks to be under a week old, how old is it?
What vitamin E are you giving?
Not quite sure what's going on with the eye.
If you have any Nutri-Drench try giving it some.

Has it been with other chicks? If so it could have been pecked.
Nope, I isolated it because of its wry neck. It just sleeps in a cushioned box by itself.
How old is it? Where did you get it from?
I think it's around 2.5-3 weeks old. My aunt ordered a flock of chicks to start a farm and about one week in, there was this one chick that couldn't stand and had a twisted neck. They removed it from the brooder and just left it in a box so I took it in instead.
