I have 4 silver barnevelders I don’t know if they are male or female. Two have more solid black feathers and two have more of the black and white female like feather patterns but one of them has more roo like appearance? They all have different sized tails, waddles, and combs.

I think 1 and 4 have more pronounced combs. 2 has the smallest tail but 4 has the longest. 3 has the smallest waddles and comb though. I’ve read they’re hard to tell until they’re grown up. Ugh I would hope not all Roos!
Tails don't mean a thing, so do don't look at those for indication. All have fairly pink combs.

How did they turn out? In my very limited experience the males get their wing feathering and tail feathers slower than the females. Number 2 looks like a pullet to me. Number 1 a roo. Undecided on 3 and 4 but I’m leaning to roo.
