Sorry if this post is a little "short", This is my 6th time typing this(dumb iPad) and I;m getting a little impatient! lol
So my butons hatched on the 1st, so 12 days old. Thought i had 3 cinnamons 2 silver red breasted. Now their feathers ar coming in and Im a little unsure. I heard somewhere that it is too early to tell their adult color, is this true?

Well this is now my 11th time trying to post the pictures, only then to have my iPad freeze.
Here is the link to the album, I gave them temporary names, but im bound to have to change them later when some turn out to be males:

Azarin- This is the forsure cinnamon, could it also be a white winged pied, none of the others have white wingtips like this.
Surya & Brunissen- These are the 2 that i thought were cinnamon, but now im not sure, since some othe feathers are grey, while others are brown, what are they?
Aysel & Lucine- these are what im only guessing are silver red breasted, what are your guesses?

Thank you to anyone who can help!

You are right that the colors will change when the adult feathers get in at about 6-8 weeks. At this time they look like regular and silver. Good Luck

Oh gosh! I was holding one of the silvers and it jumped out of my hand, I'm pretty sure it broke its leg! It's hopping around on one foot with its wings out and is only resting on the uninsured side. Anybody have success with splinting a quails leg?
GrandmaBird-thanks for your reply

That would be so cool if my Surya looked like your bird you posted! I like that color. Surya has started developing splotches of dark and grey feathers like yours since I took the pictures.
The chick With the wounded leg is actually doing well! I was counting on it dying, since the both times I had chicks with broken legs before they died of shock. But this one didn't seem stressed and simply refused to sit down, hopping around on one leg with its wings out. I put a splint on it but it fell off, plus the bird won't sit still to let me fix it. Now it is putting weight on the leg and is still limping, but I'm just grateful that it survived and didn't have any internal injuries! Although I am a little confused that it is recovering quickly, maybe this is normal? I'm almost 100% sure it broke its leg.
