Hi everyone, I'm a bit confused about what I should be seeing on the 6th day when candling eggs. With my previous hatch, I only started seeing the spider vein development at day 8.
At the moment I only see yolks and aircells. The yolks seem to be getting darker though. Temp in the incubator is stable at 36.9-37.1 degrees celsius and relative humodity at 50%
I have 60 eggs, from 6 different flocks belonging to 4 different people, in two different incubators and they all look about the same, so I highly doubt that they aren't fertile. Some of them were shipped a long distance, but others are from my flock at home.
The air cells in some of the shipped eggs are detached so I'm only turning them gently and slightly twice a day.
Because of their varied origin I didn't break any open to check fertility.
