Our GLW seemed a bit off this afternoon and lethargic.
She still ate mealworms when I dished them out but other than that she's not overly interested in much...

She had a pasty butt which I've cleaned up as best as I could and her poos are a bit sloppy.

We've brought her inside for the evening..

Just wanted to know of some possibilities as to what is happening?
She's only about 10 months old - I was worried if she could be eggbound, but she hasn't had her first lay yet? And from what I have read she's not exhibiting sign that I've read that are associated with that.

Any advice or help is appreciated! ! :(

Hi! Some of our older girls have been like that toward the end, when they were laying internally. But your girl seems to be way too young for that! Have you ever wormed them? That might be a good place to start. If it is worms, she should be noticeably better just a few days after you worm them. I hope she is feeling better soon!

I do have some wormer ready to go, so I was going to get onto that ASAP.

Thank you. Hopefully that does the trick! Everyone else in the flock is currently fine too.

I would also recommend worming as a first line of treating her. Fenbendazole, albendazole, flubendazole, and levamisole are all good wormers that will get most or all chicken worms. Some other things to look at if the worming doesn't help, are vent gleet, a fungal infection of the GI tract, coccidiosis, and enteritis.

Thanks.

I'll be worming tomorrow and most likely taking her to see my vet friend on Saturday if she's not showing any improvement. She also has chickens and will be very willing to help!

Sorry for your loss. If anyone else is sick, I think treatment for cocci may help. Coxoid (toltazuril) or amprollium are used, as well as sulfa drugs such as sulfadimethoxine and sulfamethazine (Sulmet.)
