Unusual behavior?

Today, which was mildly warm in the low 70's, two of my hens were laying down in the run, with one or two wings spread out. It almost looked like they were sunbathing. Otherwise, they acted normal and healthy.

I am a newbie at raising chickens, and wonder if this is something normal? Any help would be appreciated.

Perfectly normal. They were enjoying the sun and probably trying to do a little dirt-bathing. Chicken Heaven.
