hello all ive not posted since my sad news in May for those who did not read my post I had my lovely 5 hens for over a year then one night a Fox killed them all, I wasn't sure if I would get any more but found I missed having them so my husband built me a big Fox proof coop he worked really hard on it then Saturday he took me to a local farm where I purchased 3 hens
1x light Sussex
1x black rock
1x daisie Bell
And also 2x white Indian runner ducks
Now I'm back at the beginning trying to tame them and starting all over, however ive never kept ducks before they seem so nervous I'm not sure the best way to try and tame them any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm really sorry about the birds you lost, but really glad you got some beautiful new ones!

Ducks can be flighty, especially when older. You can try sitting down near them with treats. Don't reach for them, but let them come to you, and they will learn to trust you more.

Best of luck with your new flock!
