i had to put my eggs that i am trying to hatch in to
my cats cage that i use to take them to the vet,
BUT tonight my son and I candled the eggs
and every egg is moving and i am keeping a good temp
so i have 31 eggs but 32 chicks .
a big Question i have one big egg and it
has 2 chicks in it and they are moving when and if they
hatch will the chicks be stuck together or will the be ok?
candling them i don't see them connected

😮 I have to follow this! That would be so neat!

I am also extremely intrigued by this entire set up! To answer your question about a "twin egg" they very rarely make it to hatch but it is possible. How far along are you in incubation
i believe it's 8 days for it. since i live in Washington state, we have moisture during winter and spring. plus it's been raining,i had put the cage under my kitchen table that is made of wood .
and i have carpet ,plus i have an old kids sleeping bag over the cage but keeping part of it i keep opened . then i took one small water bottle with the end cut off i put that in the back
and end part of a soda bottle too well cleaned ,then i put a heater that rotates the heat on low set it about 2 feet from it in front and yea

I'm with BabyBlue, Curious as to how you maintain heat and humidity.

Amazing that you have done it that way, and that they have been developing like that! Good luck with your hatch!
