My chicks are now 6 weeks old today and I have new pictures.
I am now pretty sure all of them are girls.
They have pinkish orangish combs and no wattles and
they all have basically the same coloring.
Here are all 7 from above. They all have the same coloring.
2 may be a bit darker but not terribly so.
Here is a picture of the one I was confused about. She has feathered out the same color as the rest of them and hasn't developed any wattles. Also her comb color hasn't deepened to a red and she actually has a smaller comb than most of them.
Another one. Notice: no wattles
And here is one comparing her to 3 others. Notice they all have larger combs than her. She has also started to look more feminine lately.
I think she's so pretty but still looks a little different than the rest in her beak area.
Anyhow, i'm quite pleased that I don't have a rooster even though I would have settled with 1.
