Well, worming is something else that I know next-to-nothing about. We eat the eggs, and really try hard to keep things organic and all-natural, so it was suggested on another chicken message board (before I found this one!) to put cayenne pepper in their feed every couple of months, which I've been doing. I've never seen any worms in their poo, even after the cayenne, which I was told would happen after they ate the pepper.
Can you suggest a good chicken wormer that won't affect their eggs? Or do they all affect eggs, and if so, when can we go back to eating them?
I just checked her again and comb seems to be pinking up. I bought a vitamin supplement at the feed store and I'm putting it in their water so they'll all get a good shot of vitamins.
