I am pretty sure I've got them figured out now. The three jerseys were only four days old when we brought them home friday so they are a week old now. I believe Andi and Hami are at least four or possibly six weeks old at this point and the rest are probably two to four weeks as well. any thoughts? thanks for all the help you've already given!

Here's one of the RIR's I got from Murdochs, the other looks just like her. Definitely more red than any of the choices you have. I got them on 3/28 presumably about three days old at time of purchase, so they are just about 5 weeks now.

Do you remember what else was in the tub with them?

Remember that your Aracauna is sold as an Araucauna/Ameracauna so is essentially an Easter Egger. All three of mine have done wonderfully for me with beautiful green eggs. I got two more this year

I tried to find pics of my SS whn she was just a few weeks old but can't. You'll notice the tell tale "speckles" on it very soon. It'll get little white spots on the ends of the feathers before too long.

Welcome Again!

I'd love to come see your set up!

Your black beauty looks like our australorps. I think you have a pretty safe bet. Check the color of the bottoms of the feet. They should be pink to be a BA.

i checked the bottom of her feet, they seem to be more orange/pinkish than actual pink. But, I figured that she was an australorp, she was one of the easiest to match :) Thank you for the confirmation!

So of the three unknowns the one in the middle would be a RIR? Sounds about right. I don't know what was in the tub because I didn't pick them :). Well, thats nice, knowing that that one is a A/A EE type. As for our setup, its just a rubbermaid tub. I can post some pics if you want, I've got them on this computer. It's not going to be enough when the 25 new chicks come later this month though :)

Here is my Blue Andalusian at approximately 4 weeks for age comparison. I have a more recent picture at home of him/her (?) I will try and remember to post tonight, but she has alot more black neck feathers now. I picked her up on 4/5, and she had just arrived at the feed store that morning.

Ah, well judging by the way yours is more feathered out and the comb is bigger I'd say mine is currently less than 4 weeks old, more like a 3 week then, possibly. Thanks for the help on her!
