1 week old already! They're so darn cute, and playful and sooooo messy..

The pictures aren't great - they're not the most corporative when it comes to keeping them still, lol.

I'm addicted to all the duckling pictures! Certainly believe they will be my next batch of excitement!

Edited: Can't seem to be able to spell today.

Yaha, I do personally believe they're cuter than chicks

No I don't have a pond

but these ducks are going to friends when they're a bit older... in the mean time they've been having paddles in a paint tray. They'll still be local when they go though

I'm going into lockdown tomorrow with 24 chickens, and the next batch is going to be ducks. What temp and humidity did you set your bator at. I'm using a coleman cooler and a light bulb, so far I've hatched out pheasants, and hopfully chickens soon. the ducks belong to a friend that can't get his ducks to sit, so I told him I would try to incubate some for him. Thanks

haha, their legs are becoming mighty 'hench' lol

3forfree - I kept the temperature at 99 (fan-assisted) and the humidity was at 50% up until lockdown, when i bumped it up to 75-80%, I also dropped the temp to 98 which isn't a major difference... but i was advised to do it. what type of duck is it?
