Update: Hatch DONE, I think - Picture

The first at 8:30 and the second at 8:55. The first 2 are Welsumers. There are some Marans eggs pipped. There are also a couple Ameraucana and Standard cochin eggs in there.

I think there are 10-11 more good eggs. They are actually due tomorrow.

So far there are 3 welsumers, 1 black copper marans, and 2 Golden Cuckoo Marans.

Some others are pipped including an Ameraucana, a standard cochin, and a couple more Marans.

A welsumer pipped and died last night. It pipped the wrong end and seems to have went right through a blood vessel and bled to death.

I think the hatch just finished.

had 14 good/fertile eggs
1 pipped and died
2 never pipped
9 chicks are sleeping in the brooder/box(3 welsummers, 1 cochin, 1 ameraucana, 4 marans)
2 are drying in the bator(a marans hatched about 9 and a welsummer popped out less then an hour ago).

That puts the hatch rate at 78.5%. The one that died went against the hatch rate. If it had lived the hatch rate would have been 85.7%. I officially love my RCom King Suro 20.

Here is a picture of 8 of the 9 in the brooder. The yellow one came out of a Blue copper marans egg.
